Re-election Campaign Kick-off Event

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to my re-election campaign kickoff on January 8th. Being surrounded by so many people who care deeply about Salem was both humbling and energizing.

One person shared something that really stayed with me: “You know you’re at a Julie Hoy event when more attention is being directed to the people in the room—their service and leadership—than to the candidate herself.”  That meant a lot, because this journey has always been about community, not me.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me—at the kickoff, throughout this past year, and along the entire journey of becoming your Mayor. I’m proud of the work we’ve done so far and hopeful for the opportunity to continue serving Salem and building on that progress together!
